CARGO SKILLS AND PROCEDURES – SELF-LEARNING COURSE

Target participants:

A comprehensive training of Cargo Skills and Procedures is designed for the following personnel who involved in air cargo industry -

• Shippers
• Consolidators
• Freight Forwarder's staff
• Cargo Operations staff
• Ground Handling Agent's staff

Course Content:

• Define IATA areas
• Understand Coding/Decoding of Airports and Cities
• Carrier's Liability and Valuation
• Use IATA's The Air Cargo Tariff and Rules (TACT) manual for specific country and Carrier regulations
• Basic Rating (GCR, SCR, CR, ULD, Construction, Combination)
• Apply correct cargo acceptance procedures
• Cargo Documentation
• Understand the conditions of carriage
• Complete an Air Waybill, the official contract of carriage Special cargo
• Aircraft structure, layout, limitation, and Unit Load Device (ULD)

Course Fee HKD2,200.00

We have 2 periods of examination a day (Morning or Afternoon)

You may reserve examination period from 10:00 to 13:00 or 14:00 to 17:00 on every Monday to Friday. 

1^st period   -  1000 – 1300

2^nd period  -  1400 – 1700

Participant received Cargo Skills and Procedures handout and exercise in advance for self-learning.

Examination Format:   Open handout examination

Duration:   3 hours

Venue:   Unit 504, Leader Commercial Building, 54-56 Hillwood Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

A certificate is awarded following a Cargo Skills and Procedures course of self-learning ending in a 3 hours examination.
